Chrissie White Photos

A Peculiar Sort of Thing

One thing I really like about this picture is the backdrop. The grey cloudy color they made the background to be is perfect. Everything in the photo is positioned and setup so that one prop brings out the next. In this photo you can tell they thought a lot about what they wanted to do. I think the shadows on the wall from the props are cool too, its obvious this was done on purpose and not by mistake.

This photo has a horror film feeling like this is a shot straight out of the movie "The Ring". In this picture the little girl looks as if the TV she is watching has possessed her. It would be a perfect photo to have around Halloween.

The artist show how kids are so sucked into TV. I think the photo is very spontaneous and shows an artist just using her imagination. It looks like she wanted us to get a feel for the picture instead of there being a point of it.

Stick Together

The picture doesn't have much color and they didn't use hardly any props but this is still a great photo. The background of this photo plain, because they are standing in front of a white wall which point me to the assumption that they wanted the main and only focus to be the people in the picture. The carpet is purple and the shoe the are wearing matches the others outfits.

This picture is more on the happier side, it is joyful. When I look at this photo it make me think about friends and the things we do. It seem like a picture you would have in a photo album. I could imagine them looking at this years from now and laughing back on it.

This is just two friends taking the phrase stick together literally and having fun with it. The artist is taking everyday saying and being creative. I think that is exactly what she is trying to do is inspire everyone to be creative.

The Transparent Massacre

This photo was taken with a lot of colors, she uses everything such as a dark forest green to a bright peachish color. The position or where the colors were chose to go aren't planned, the basically splashed paint everywhere to create this masterpiece. They wore white clothes and background so all the paint would be visible.

This picture has a sneaky/ devious feel and is wild at the same time. When I look at this photo i think of shows such as Unsolved Mystery's or when kids take something their not suppose to then get questioned about is they try and look innocent. Those are the feelings I get when looking at this picture.

The artist is show how devious women can be. I show how they can be wild and crazy and try and act innocent.

Black and White

1. The point of interest is how the white stripes compliment the black backpack.

2. I intentionally placed the item on the right hand side because the light seemed to make a glow when hitting the white stripes.

1. This photo I didn't have a particular reason for taking a picture of this image, I just got it because it fit the assignment.

2. I placed the image in the middle so you would understand that i took the photo to go with the assignment.

1. The interest for this picture is what the sign says, the sign is basically describing how I feel about tobacco going in my body.

2. I placed the sign in the middle so that the words are visible. This lets the audience see what I am trying to say.

1.The point of interest is the word compost.

2.To draw attention to that I placed it on the bottom third line. The objects also stand out from its background and not blend in.

1. The point of interest is the way that its angled. How its at the edge of the picture but still running through the middle.
2. Its placed along the edge but also in the middle taking over half the grid.

I like how the bars on the basketball hoop kind of fade into the dark environment and the the backboard just pop out because its so bright.
2. The backboard is in the front intersection. The bars and chains is directing your eyes to what its leading to.

1. No main interest but the ear buds go with the assignment.
2. The ear buds are positioned in the middle then dragging out to the bottom left corner where it starts to get blurry.

1. How the white stands out but it leads to the black like what's in his hand and around his neck.
2. Its positioned to see how everything is the sweater covers everything except what's on his neck and in his hand.

1. Point of interest is how the black is the background and the letters and tree is all pointing to each other.
2. There is not really an angle on this since it takes up the whole entire picture.

1.The point of interest is the number in the middle of the clock.

2.The rim of the clock is place all along the rule of thirds. It frames the clock.
