Fallen Princesses

Snow White
In this photograph the main characters are wearing bright colors to catch the eye of viewers. It seems more light is focused on the front of the room as if this picture has different layers/sections to it, the back of the room is more dim to match the look of the room.

Snow White looks like she is living a normal life for people in the 21st century. The artist takes the story from fairy tale and happily ever after and gives it a Non-Fiction vibe.Snow Whites facial expressions speaks for itself. To me her face says this is not what I envisioned my life to be like. Its also sort of a blank facial expression. In this photo it shows Snow White with 4 kids and a husband, that lounges on the couch and drinks beer.

The portrait is sad because when we look at it we think bad about it but it really showing the life of a normal American. Americans now days are having many kids and it shows the average American family. The kids are running around freely, crying and nagging her. The house is very messy toys are all over the floor, her happily ever after was not promising.

Belle
This photo is very focused on her appearance and trying to show what it takes to portrait an image. The artist is very clear on what he is trying to say to the audience. Artist has a main focus in this photo and the camera is only focusing on that, there is nothing in the picture that will draw your attention away from the model. All props were used perfect to go along with Belle.

The picture shows Belle in the doctors office getting all kinds of surgery to change her looks or keep her good looks up. This shows what many females do to change what they see as flaws of their body. The artist decide to show doctors actually operating on her instead of showing a girl that has already been through all the surgeries.

The photo is sad because this is what people actually go through to change there appearances. People go through all this pain because they care of what others think of them. I personally think it is weird to inject yourself to enhance your image it you weren't born like that why change it.

Not So Little Red Riding Hood
The colors in this photo coordinate, from the props the use to the leaves on the ground and even the clothes that she is wearing. The clothes she is wearing matches the McDonald's cup that she is drinking from. They also matched the leaves on the ground with her basket and the goodies in it. They also used a lot of light in the back half of the picture so they get the full effect on everything they are trying to capture.

This picture show little red riding hood has taken to many trips to grandmas house for snacks. It reflects on what the average American eats a day. American today consume a lot of junk food and also fast foods instead of cooking at home like they should. You notice that in the basket she has no healthy food which could be the reason why she has grown and gotten overweight.

I think this picture reflects the lives of a lot of people today with eating things that aren't necessarily good for the body. So I basically agree on the direction the artist is heading with this photograph. I also think this photo is kind of funny with how they show the aftermath of the princesses in there later life.
